1. Open My Computer. On the left bar, click 'My Network Places.

2. On the left side, click 'View Network Connections.'

3. On the next screen, click the 'Create a new connection' link on the top of the left bar.

4. A 'New Connection Wizard' should pop up. Click Next.

5. When you need to choose a connection type, choose 'Connect to the network at my workplace.' Then click 'Next.'

6. On the next screen, choose the 'Virtual Private Network Connection.' Then click 'Next.'

7. When prompted for a name type 'RPC VPN' and click Next.

8. If Prompted, on this screen choose 'Do not dial the inital connection' and choose 'Next.

9. Enter 'vpn.rpc.msoe.edu' as the hostname. Then click 'Next.'

10. If prompted select do not use my smart card. Then click Next.

11. If prompted select for anyones use. Then click Next.

12. Select finish.

13. When done go to start, connect to, and select RPC VPN.

14. Enter your user name and password. Click connect and you will be connected to the RPC network.
