Ameritech Teams
A grant from Ameritech supported teacher-led Student
Design Teams from nine local and regional high schools who were designing
physical models of a biomolecular structure that would be used in their
schools. These teams had access to the unique modeling resources developed
in the MSOE Center for BioMolecular Modeling.
Goals of the Project:
- To involve students in a project-based, inquiry-driven project utilizing cutting-edge information and biomolecular modeling technology
- To create a collection of biomolecular models that will make the molecular world "real" for high school students.
- To engage teachers in a project-based professional development activity.
