The p53 Team
This
team of teachers is working to develop a curriculum module addressing
the molecular consequences of cigarette smoking. The curriculum
will focus on the carcinogens contained in cigarette smoke,...and
the mechanism whereby they lead to an inactivation of the p53
protein. One component of this curriculum will be the creation
of physical models of the DNA adducts and the p53 tumor supressor
protein
